CDC in Madison race and RK Cup in sprint events
Since September 26, the Cycling Track “Saryarka” hosts the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Madison race and the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in sprint disciplines. These competitions cover both men and women, as well as juniors and juniors, providing an opportunity to prove themselves to the best cyclists of the country.
The Madison race is a team discipline that requires participants to be highly coordinated and tactical. In each race, a team consists of two riders who alternate on the track performing sprints. The change of riders and their interaction play a key role in achieving victory.
Sprint, on the other hand, is an individual discipline focused on maximum speed. It is an intense race where athletes demonstrate their strength, endurance and strategy. In sprint events, tactical team support can also be seen, especially in the last meters of the course.
Forty-seven athletes from various regions of Kazakhstan, including Almaty, Astana, as well as the regions of Almaty, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Zhetysu, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, Akmola and West Kazakhstan, are taking part in the competition.
The competition will last until September 29. We wish success to all participants!
